With the VLGD-Series Rilesa has set a new benchmark in price / capacity for one-man-operated dowel drilling machines. This machine type is suited for small as well as large production series in all types of material, from solid wood and MDF to chipboard and plywood.

Features:

Drilling from 2-3 sides + doweling

The VLGD machines have a special throughput system where the components are moving in a half circle, before returning to the operator on the return conveyor. The machine is controlled from the display placed on the front of the machine. Drilling and glue + dowels is done in 2 steps. The glue pump continuously circulates the glue and the daily cleaning is reduced to just a few minutes.
You also have the option of an electronic setup system that gives you a quick setup and precise settings.

The two big dowel separators are placed on front of the machine, in order to have the dowel flow as direct as possible.
The VLGD can be equipped with drilling groups from the top, ends and from the back. The width of the groups is only 95mm. The VLGD machine can be ordered for a maximum length of 1500 mm or 2200 mm.

The DCU cutting units have been designed to combine all our standard dowel drilling machines operated by one person. The DCU is linked with the drilling machine by a conveyor system and returns the components to the operator, from underneath the hopper. The DCU can cut one or multiple components in one cut, gives a very clean cut of the counter profile and can be combined with the Rilesa Pro-Line , UNI-X, VLGD and VLG machines.

With Rilesa’s track milling station, you can route tracks in components with extremely high speed and precision. You have the option of isolating the spindles and go in and out in the material as needed. The groove milling station is ideal in combination with other Rilesa drilling machines and when producing components that require cutting in- and outgoing grooves.

Rapid 1500

By developing the Rapid 1500 series, Rilesa reaches a new standard in terms of price / capacity for 1-man operated dowel drilling machines. We are talking about a further enhancement, based on the experience of several machine generations of this type of product. Completely new methods of design and manufacturing were used to achieve maximal capacity and ease of use.

There was especially focus on the convenience of use, regarding adjusting and operating the machine.

This type of machine is well suited for small as well as larger batches. It will process many types of materials, from solid wood and MDF to chipboard and plywood.

Rapid 1500 can be equipped with drilling units from both sides and from the top. The unique slim design of the drilling units of only 95 mm allows very close drilling.

The magazine is newly-developed to establish the in- and out-feeding at an optimal working height for the operator. After processing, the machine will return the workpieces on a conveyor belt that runs through the bench back to the operator.

Rapid 1500 is well suited to automation and linking to other machines.

Driling units, cross drilling and other functions are selected on a touchscreen. All necessary units are then linked to the job and ready for manual adjustment, if necessary with the help of the digital measuring system. The magazine is adjustet in a few minuts, the tools are mounted in the spindle head and the machine is ready to operate.

The display will show capacity and produktion information as well.

Automatic process of window components - Win-profi

Win-profi - Fully automatic process of window components. All done in one pass.
Throughout the years Rilesa has designed and produced machinery for the window industry, and with the newest model of the advanced Win-profi line, we have increased the capacity, made the access better and the increased the process possibilities.

The Win-profi machinery can be equipped with a number of optional modules, by doing so we are able to process on all sides of the components. On the line shown, we have placed 2 square hole chisels, 1 longhole milling unit for locks, 3 pcs. underneath drilling units and 1 side drilling unit.

The pieces are loaded into the process unit from the buffer conveyor one by one, and pass through the unit in the length direction. When the profiles enter the process unit, they are caught by a servo controlled position system, the system will hold and place the component in front of the various process units. The Win-profi line has a high capacity throughput with outstanding precision.

Data from the order system can control the Win-profi line.

Winprofi have 2 control options:

1. The machine is programmed and controlled from the display. The operator can store various informations from the component types together with the milling, drilling positions in the different phases. When working on the line, the operator can choose the type af work from the menu, load the component into the line, and it will be processed according to the stored data.
2. The Winprofi-line can be networked to an in-house order system. Datafiles can be downloaded into the line and the various pieces will then be processed according to the data.

The Rilesa Win-profi is designed and build to customer specifications.

The Win-profi can be placed next to a moulder and the double end tenor. The components can be fed from the buffer conveyor into the line with the right speed. During the pass, the length of the components is controlled, and the operation system is keeping track of the different operations for each component.

VLG 1524 / 2224 can be equipped with drill groups from the ends, top and sides. There are two models, one with maximum length of 1500 mm and one for 2200 mm. The drill groups are placed close to the workpiece and the groups are tilted in order to let the pieces pass when drilling from the side.

UNI-X 2200 is our most universal dowel drilling machine with a longe range of different special equipment

UNI-X is equipped with an advanced control system with numerous possibilities. It is possible to reset the machine in minutes, all data regarding drill heads, tools, position in x, y and z direction etc. are stored in the machine. A digital measuring system combined with a lightsignal guides the operator to position the drill groups in the x-direction. During production the machine continuously controls the position in x-direction to reduce faults.

The UNI-X is specially designed for solid wood and has a unique system og clamping cylinders designed to adjust and hold the components. The UNI-X is also excellent for components in MDF, chip board, plywood and even aluminium.

The resetting of the machine is easy and the flexible clamp units together with the slim design of the drill groups, make it possible to drill almost all components in one pass.
As with most Rilesa machinery, the UNI-X is well suited for automation and linking with other machines.

UNI-X can be ordered with a jumpboring system. With this system it is possible to drill in two steps. You can drill even complicated drill patterns in one pass without special drill heads. Alternative option: milling longholes, drilling round components etc.

The resetting of the drill groups is easy and exact with the magnetic positioning system. With the flexible drill groups it is possible to drill even complex drill patterns.

The UNI-X has a large program of special equipment, here we show milling, and drilling in two directions in one pass, for round components. Rilesa manufactures the drill heads with different systems for mounting the tools.

Cutting, drilling and milling machine - X-Line

The Rilesa X-line is a newly designed cut-drill-mill machine, developed to be flexible and with a short reset time. The entire operation is done in one pass, with the advantage of two different ways of moving the components. In the first part of the line, the components move at an angle of 45° in the length direction, they are then cut in length and drilled at all sides.

After the two first modules they enter the third, the double ending module, where you get the option of CNC-milling of the ends, drilling, sanding and/or doweling.

In the X-Line series, the components are moved in the length direction by two servo hoppers at an angle of 45°. Here it is possible to drill from the ends, CNC-milling and/or gluing and doweling. The components are stopped and repositioned for every step. Including the double ending modul with twin milling units.

The Pro-Line dowel drilling machine is a newly developed type of machine, designed for highly sensitive components like MDF coated and foil-coated components. The Pro-line can be delivered with flexible end drill groups, able to be tilted in two directions at 45°. CNC from both ends with full interpolation. Toll shift is one of Pro-line’s newest options.

The Pro-line dowel drilling machine is equipped with an advanced control system with a lot of options. The Pro-line dowel drilling machine is designed with different loading system options
The basic version is designed with a special in- and outlet for the components as they are placed side by side. The components pass through the machine very gently and are handled without any scratches. Resetting the drill groups is done easily and precisely with the magnetic positioning system. When the Pro-line is being fed from other machinery, the pieces are being transported on a conveyer system and transferred crossways into the drilling machine.

The robot version of the Pro-line
Pro-line is also available in a robot version where the loading and removal of components is done using a robot. A whole layer of components is placed on the conveyer system which separates the drill components. Once the components are processed, the components return at a lower assembly line and is assembled as a layer. The robot then collects the components again and places them on the pallet. This ensures that the robot always has enough capacity for the task.
